G is for…

Good. I have made it thus far. I have been contacted about what I am going to do for the last four. Relax. Calm oneself.

Good is a simple word, but it intrigued me as to its origin. I grew up being told that it descended from ‘God’, but that cannot be the case as it has a long ‘o’. According to Kroonen, it comes from ‘to unite.’ It’s antonym would be ‘evil’ (originally from a word meaning ‘to mistreat’).

We then have an argument of good vs evil being united vs mistreating/selfishness.

It was then that I realised that Dungeons and Dragons has been right with the nine alignments.

Crafty creators…but, good creators.
