Now, I have an interest in this word as I adore most things French, and Frankish history. I wonder the reasons for which this word became a concept.
If it is due to Frankish culture, what cultural aspects do I have, and will there be a word for Westernness as a concept in the future? For example, French people are more polite than Americans in general; therefore, forwardness is more American — arguably — than it was in the past. The French, however, discuss their history with more forwardness than Americans do.
So, what is Westernness as it stands now?
